ROOTED: Why We Do What We Do Part 1- Teacher's Guide by Erica Rouse
This Apostolic Pentecostal teen curriculum is a deep and dynamic 28-week journey into the biblical foundations behind how we live, worship, and serve as believers. Created especially for ages 12–18, ROOTED: Why We Do What We Do! is built on Acts 2:38 salvation, the Oneness of God, and the call to be a holy, separated people.
Part One (Lessons 1–13) lays the foundation by exploring our identity, doctrine, and lifestyle through Scripture and discussion-based lessons. Every topic is intentionally chosen to help teens not just know what they believe—but why they believe it.
This curriculum is intended to be used alongside the ROOTED: Why We Do What We Do! Student Workbook, which contains memory verses, guided notes, devotional pages, discussion questions, and take-home challenges designed to reinforce each week’s theme.
Whether you’re a seasoned teacher or just stepping into youth ministry, this series equips you to teach truth with clarity, passion, and purpose—raising up a generation who are unapologetically Apostolic and rooted in the Word.
